The local professionals in the water with you

Local professionals lead every water session. The teaching, the certifications and the safety in the water are their work, and they stay fully responsible for it. Rocío plans the trip and looks after you, before, during and after.

Moʻorea, French Polynesia

Moʻorea, September 2027

Nicolas Buray

Marine Wildlife Guide & Founder, Tahiti Shark Expeditions

Nicolas founded Tahiti Shark Expeditions and is based on Moʻorea. He takes small groups on private boats into the waters between Tahiti and Moʻorea, where sharks, rays, dolphins and turtles live, and humpback whales come in their season, July to November. He explains what you see, and his rule is simple: the animal always leads. Wildlife encounters are unpredictable. Whale swims should always follow local regulations and experienced professional guidance.

“Moorea is a magic place. We are waiting for you to meet the megafauna that inhabits these waters.”
