Cancellation Policy
Ocean Calling Retreats collaborates with small local partners, independent instructors, guides, and family-run accommodations across all retreat destinations. Each booking requires advance planning and commitment from the local community, often weeks or months before the retreat begins.
For this reason, all deposits are non-refundable. Your deposit secures your place in the retreat and allows local partners to reserve time, prepare equipment, and organise the experience in advance. This approach supports fair working conditions and helps protect the people and environments that make these journeys possible.
If you are no longer able to attend, you may request a one-time transfer of your deposit to another Ocean Calling Retreat within 12 months, within the same retreat category and subject to availability, provided written notice is received at least 30 days before the retreat start date.
If the new retreat is priced higher, the difference must be paid. If the new retreat is priced lower, the difference is not refunded.
Cancellations made within 30 days of the retreat start date are non-refundable, as local services, instructors, accommodation partners, and operational resources will already have been fully confirmed.
For additional peace of mind, WeTravel offers the option to purchase travel insurance during checkout, which may provide coverage in the event of illness, travel disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances that prevent participation.
Bookings made through third-party platforms or partner websites may be subject to the cancellation and refund policies of those providers. In such cases, the terms and conditions of the respective platform apply, and participants are encouraged to review them carefully before confirming their reservation.
