Indonesia uses the Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).

On Gili Trawangan, some small shops may prefer cash.
What language do they speak?
Bahasa Indonesia is the national language.
English is widely spoken in tourism, diving, hospitality, and transport.

Where do we stay?
We stay in boutique-style villas across Bali’s most beautiful regions — Uluwatu, Amed, Ubud, and Gili Trawangan.
Each guest has their own private room or private-room setup depending on the property. Shared areas vary by villa.
If you’d like examples of the accommodation, feel free to reach out.
Can I stay in my own villa or hotel instead?
Yes. If you prefer arranging your own private accommodation, this can be organised.
The retreat price will be adjusted to reflect this change in logistics.
Is this a resort or boutique hotel?
No. These are intimate villas selected for comfort, charm, and a calm atmosphere — not large hotel structures.
Are meals included?
Some meals are included when part of an activity, experience, or scheduled moment.
Other meals are independent, especially on exploration days when everyone returns at different times.
Daily breakfast essentials are provided in each villa.
You will receive a schedule showing which meals are included.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, it is strongly recommended.
It protects you in case of illness, flight delays, personal emergencies, or unexpected situations — and many policies cover diving activities. Choose a plan that suits your needs and includes cancellation coverage for non-refundable travel.
Is diving or freediving equipment included?
Yes — all freediving gear and scuba equipment for your chosen path is included.
If you choose nitrox diving, the dive center may apply an additional fee.
Do I need experience to join?
No — beginners are welcome. Freediving, scuba diving, and coaching sessions are adapted to your comfort and level.
What if I have asthma or I can’t hold my breath?
This is very common. You don’t need to hold your breath long for freediving basics, and scuba diving does not require breath holding.
Everything is adapted to your pace and safe range.
If you have asthma, bring your inhaler and ensure your doctor has cleared you for gentle ocean activities.
You will never be pushed beyond what feels comfortable.
Are manta rays or turtles guaranteed?
Encounters are likely but never guaranteed. Mantas are found around Nusa Penida, and turtles are common around the Gilis. We always follow ethical, respectful wildlife guidelines.

This retreat welcomes travellers from all backgrounds, cultures, and neurotypes.
It is ideal for solo travellers seeking adventure, ocean connection, gentle guidance, and a beautifully curated journey through Bali’s nature and culture.
Can I come alone?

A small, intimate group, allowing for personalised guidance and meaningful shared moments.
