Why Comoros
Mohéli is known for green turtle nesting and reef snorkelling, with humpback whales and dolphins seen from the boat in season. July and August bring drier weather, whales and nesting turtles together. Grande Comore, home to the coelacanth story, and the Shisiwani coast of Anjouan are islands we are still getting to know, with a focus on nature and conservation.
Conservation-led. Ocean Calling guests never chase, touch or bait animals.

Can we travel here ethically?
Ethics pass, with care
Good with the right operator. Here is how we choose.
Mohéli National Park grew from a village turtle project and is managed together with the island communities. Green turtles nest here all year, most from March to August. The law fully protects whales, dolphins, dugongs and turtles, and we visit only with park community guides, stay calm and far from nesting turtles, and watch whales and dolphins from the boat.
